What should I prepare for my audition?

Piano, Guitar,  Bass Trumpet,  Saxophone, Trombone

-our choice of two major or minor scales

-a short classical study or etude (optional)

-perform a jazz standard or melody 

improvise on a jazz standard (optional) 

-sight reading (optional-to be provided)

Drums

-short snare drum etude (optional)

-demonstrate the ability to play swing, bossa, mambo and samba feels at various tempos

-demonstrate the ability to play brushes in a swing style

-sight reading (optional-to be provided)
